Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2025
1. What we collect
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they open, and basic usage patterns (e.g. device type, country). This helps us improve the tool. Google may set cookies and collect data as described in their Privacy Policy and how they use data on sites that use their services.
We do not send your cron expressions, natural-language input, or “recent expressions” history to our servers or to Google. All of that is processed and stored only in your browser (including sessionStorage for recent expressions).
2. Cookies and local storage
Cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies (e.g. _ga, _gid) to distinguish users and sessions. We don’t set any other cookies ourselves.
Local storage. We use the browser’s sessionStorage only to keep your “recent expressions” list so you can click to restore them. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
3. Future advertising
We may add advertising on this site in the future (e.g. through Google AdSense or similar). If we do:
- Ad providers may set their own cookies and use data to show relevant ads.
- We will update this page to name the provider(s) and link to their privacy and ad settings.
4. Your choices
- Google Analytics: You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or use a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts.
- Recent expressions: Use “clear all” in the Recent expressions section on the main page, or clear your browser’s data for this site; that removes the list.
5. Third parties
Aside from Google (Analytics, and possibly future ad services), we don’t use other third-party services that collect personal data on this site. Links to external sites (e.g. Render, Railway, cron-job.org) in our “Need to run cron jobs” section have their own privacy policies.
6. Data retention
We don’t store your cron expressions or usage on our servers. Analytics data is held by Google according to your Analytics data retention settings and their policies.
7. Children’s privacy
This site is a technical tool aimed at developers. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data here, contact us and we’ll remove it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this page when we add features (e.g. ads) or change practices. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
9. Contact
For privacy-related questions or requests, you can reach us at the contact method published on this site (e.g. a contact form or email linked from the homepage or footer when available).
